Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking Java Developers for a contract to hire opportunity.

Under general direction, formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Solves complex problems considering applicable constraints. Performs at the highest technical level of all phases of systems analysis and programming activities. Completes small projects or individual phases of larger projects as needed.

Essential Duties:
•Identifies, analyzes, and documents business/technical requirements and systems specifications. 
•Creates and performs software coding. 
•Creates and enforces software quality standards. 
•Implements/deploys information systems. 
•Evaluates vendor-supplied applications and deploys/integrates vendor-supplied software. 
•Generates suggestions for process/product improvement. 
•Communicates status of assigned work to management and follows practices and procedures covered by precedents, standards, or policies. 
•Develops an awareness of systems and operating area interrelationships. 
•Ensures the efficient development of optimal information systems through a variety of duties including management of tasks within schedule and budgetary constraints, coordination of development/implementation efforts across disciplines, generation/presentation of users’ training material/development plans, and expansion of knowledge applicable to technical platforms and applications. 
•Leads teams of developers/integrators and assists in the development of programmers/analysts through coaching and training.

Additional Duties:

•Performs a variety of other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Java 6 & 8
•Bachelors degree in an Information Systems discipline. 
•Five or more years of experience in IS development/support. 
•Proficiency in and ability to instruct applicable software development tools, standards, and methodologies including familiarity with Software Quality Assurance tools. 
•Strong analytical, task planning, and task management skills and ability to proactively generate innovative solutions. 
•Ability to quickly understand industry/organization-specific issues and flexibility in adapting to rapidly-changing business and technical environments. 
•Highly effective analytical, decision-making, leadership, and written/verbal communication skills. 
•Ability to investigate complex business problems, develop effective recommendations, negotiate and/or present solutions, and resolve problems in a highly professional and tactful manner. 
•Highly organized and able to set priorities effectively.
