Junior Quality Assurance Engineer-Automation Specialist

·         To assist in the development and maintenance of an automation test strategy and automation framework

·         Prepare test plan and procedure documentation to demonstrate the application condition under test and the expected results.

·         Author, debug, and execute automated tests.  This includes post-run analyzing and accurately reporting results.

·         Prompt identification and escalation of defects

·         To review all deliverables from the testing team to assure high quality

·         To provide feedback to the development and product teams and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the process, schedule and requirements.  

·         To ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release.

Skills / Attributes Required

·         Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes.

·         Proven experience of testing complex user interfaces.

·         Detailed knowledge of Automated Testing.

·         Experience in testing using an automated test tool such as HP’s QTP or LoadRunner.

·         Experience in testing Web Software Applications / Database applications produced using Silverlight, C#, VB,  Access, SQL Server.
