Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking Procurement Analyst, located at Westwood, MA for a contract to hire opportunity. .
Procure, source and negotiate the buying of materials, equipment, and/or services in support of both Commercial and Federal Prime contracts
Engage and collaborate with the program team and other functional areas to understand Prime contract requirements
Reviews requirements documentation (i.e., requisitions, statement of work, drawings, and specifications) for clarity and adequacy, is able to identify potential risks in terms and conditions
Identifies potential sources for required materials or services; develops and issues request for proposals
Identifies new suppliers as required
Receives, reviews, and evaluates supplier proposals to ensure they meet Prime contract requirements
Negotiates pricing, discounts, and terms and conditions
Prepares and documents priced Bill of Material (BOM) to support cost estimate development.
Communicates bid analysis results clearly to internal stakeholders and senior supply chain staff within an established time line; may recommend innovative cost savings solutions or alternative sources
Performs cost or price analysis and issues purchases orders on procurements of moderate value, risk and complexity
Ensures all procurement actions, which commit the company, are properly documented, reviewed and approved consistent with companies’ policies and procedures
Works on a diverse range of issues and internal projects of mid-to moderate complexity
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Works with senior supply chain staff to address the more complicated procurement related issues
BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or a related field and 2-3 years of recent
Procurement/Subcontracts experience in a Federal Contracting environment.
Solid understanding of relevant policies and procedures, including Quality, Counterfeit Parts, Cyber Security, and other compliance requirements such as Federal Acquisition Requirements/DFAR, federal, state, and local laws
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written; builds productive internal/external working relationships. Acts as a liaison between internal partners and suppliers
Solid organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks and effectively complete all tasks within a tight time line
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Solid analytical skills applied to increasingly complicated data. Proficiency in manipulating and formatting data into presentable content, importing and exporting data, and ad hoc development of queries and reports
