The Information Security Consultant will provide consultative, technical research, analytical support and leadership to an ongoing Information Security project. The Consultant must be able to apply industry trends, standards and best practices in all areas when interacting with internal clients, business lines and other groups.
The ideal candidate must work well in a team and individually, have demonstrated information security and Windows (Active Directory) experience. Candidate must be a confident, self-starter, team player, show intiative but work within the client's rules and standards. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge and experience (5 plus years) working with Windows W2K/W2K3 operating systems.
Assist the Information Security department in providing for the safekeeping and integrity of company information assets by maintaining systems and controls that prevent unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, and/or deletion of information from computer networks and resources.
Serve as a security technical analyst on projects to evaluate for appropriate access. Directly interface with business line technical experts and information security members to provide guidance on authorization, authentication, encryption solutions and process changes including full documentation.
Analyze distributed platform access for clean-up and removal. Strong experience in Active Directory administration, and Windows. Strong experience also required in the use of Access, including capability to do imports, queries, and table creations.
