Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a Senior Level Business Analyst for a long term opportunity.

Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, marketing and human resources systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Requires knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered expert in field within the organization. Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in the expenditure of large amounts of company resources. Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives. Usually requires 5 to 10 years of previous experience. 

Description of Position:

This position is for a Senior Business Analyst within the Sales and Marketing Team in the area of Marketing Programs.  Team is responsible for supporting our US Commercial applications that facilitate and manage market incentives to our customers.   The Senior Business Analyst must partner with the US Program Operations team to gain expertise in business processes, and identify opportunities, solutions, and define requirements for initiatives supporting our Customers and Internal Users. 

Responsibilities:

Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as compliance facilitation, financial tracking systems, and payment processing systems.

Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.  Requires knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow.

Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered subject matter expert for assigned area within the organization. Works directly with business partners to evaluate the priority and value of enhancements and new ideas.  Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in the expenditure of large amounts of company resources.

Required Skills:

                      Bachelor’s degree.

                      5 – 10 years experience as a BA in IT, however, in a business facing role.

                      The candidate must have the ability to listen and translate business needs into multiple solutions, aligning them with business processes.

                      Proven ability to understand the full implications of a business request and how it can/should fit into existing initiatives and in overall business process.

                      Good knowledge in understanding customer facing (and online designs) processes

                      Ability to create and maintain requirement documentation, and provide business with inputs on long term process solutions.

                      Ability to manage simultaneously occurring tasks in an intense, deadline-driven business environment.

                      Agility and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.

                      A self starter, able to achieve results with limited direction.

                      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to successfully partner with business functions and teams to understand the opportunities and identify systems solutions. In addition, the candidate must successfully interact with our business partners, architects, etc to help define and develop business process and solutions.

                      The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to foster and maintain relationships with new and existing IT and business clients at all levels of the organization.

                      Candidate should have strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and ability to adhere to operational standards.

                      Experience working with both a formal, calendar based release process, along with experience working with an Agile (ie SCRUM) development process.

                      Experience with SAP Vistex or SalesForce.com is a plus.
