Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a Web Developer for a role in League City Texas.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Extend functionality within web-based Workflow applications for IBM Business Process Manager.
- Design, develop, test and implement new Workflow solutions and systems using J2EE and the JSF framework
- Resolve problems in a production environment
- Understand how and when to incorporate technologies to provide the very best service in responding to business needs
- Acquire and assimilate knowledge about current systems, both to understand the relationship to business needs and objectives and to understand the dependencies between systems
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in web-based software development environments and knowledge of languages such as J2EE is desirable but not required
- Skills and experience with DB2 databases; ability to verify and create complex views, queries and stored procedures
- Experience with the full product life cycle including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, QA and deployment
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service and analytical skills are necessary
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with constant change in a more than satisfactory manner
- Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work occasional night and weekend hours when required. On-call rotation is required.
- IT related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
*Final position title and hay points will be determined by the selected candidates overall skill set and years of experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience with WebSphere, WebSphere Process Server, IBM Business Process Manager and DB2.
- Experience in web-based software development environments and knowledge of languages, such as J2EE and the JSF framework.
- Skills and experience with databases; ability to verify and create complex views, queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with Crystal Reports and IBM Mainframe JCL is a plus.
- Experience with the full product life cycle including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, QA and deployment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service and analytical skills are necessary.
