ASP.Net Developer ( 3 openings )

 

 

Must have in-depth knowledge and several years of hands on experience with WINDOWS Forms coding and ASP.Net coding  to be considered!!

The developer will be dedicated to a large conversion project from legacy technologies to the Microsoft .Net platform.  The candidate will work part of a larger team but must be effective working independently on assigned tasks.   A good candidate needs to have team player attitude and a firm understanding of OO principles and practices.  The developer must have sufficient experience to contribute to the project with minimal delay.

Responsibilities:

•Analysis of business processes and requirements to identifying opportunities for improvement using Microsoft tools and technology.

•Translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements

•Development of functional and technical solution design documents based upon client requirements

•Development of solutions based upon using Microsoft tools and technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SharePoint, XML

•Coordinate software builds with the quality assurance team

•Develop and write web applications and systems.

•Unit test each solution to ensure proper performance and efficiency guidelines are met. 

•Document programs in accordance with development standards and procedures.

•Create and/or modify current documentation.

•Work within production control guidelines for production application changes.

•Assist in mentoring and training on program functionality, design and architecture.  

Job Requirements: 

Applicants must possess and display the following skills:

•Minimum of 3 years of experience in analysis, design, and development of software solutions

•Minimum of 2 years hands-on work experience with C#, Windows Forms, ASP.NET

•Development experience on Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and related services Required Skills 

•Windows Forms C#, ASP.Net, T-SQL, MS SQL Server 2005+, Visual Source Safe

•Extensive experience of object oriented programming and design.

•Experience implementing common design patterns.

•Ability to create and troubleshoot stored procedures, functions and triggers

•Must be comfortable working with Microsoft SQL Management Studio

•Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and multi-tasking capabilities

•Solid understanding of Ajax technologies, HTML, XML, and JavaScript. Optional Skills

•Experienced in SQL Server Administration tasks is a plus

•Experience with Windows SharePoint Services, SharePoint Portal Server, or other Web Content Management system is highly desirable

•Agile project management experience is highly desirable

•Experience Visual Basic 6 is a plus

•Crystal Reports 10+ is a plus 

Education:

•BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

•MCSD, MCAD, and/or MCDBA certifications is a plus
