Business Analyst (Business Intelligence/Data Analyst)

 

 

Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a consultant for a BI Business/Data Analyst role.

Project Description:

Migrating reporting systems from Business Objects to WebFOCUS environment.  Team consists of domestic project management, data/business analysts, .NET developers, and offshore WEBFOCUS report developers.  Fast-paced environment with agile, iterative approach to development.  This will be an ongoing development effort with multiple projects in the pipeline.

Required Business Intelligence / Data Analyst Technical Skills:

·         In-depth understanding of Business Intelligence solutions for customers

·         Experienced in reporting development in Data Warehouse environment

·         Experienced in creating and maintaining reports with BusinessObjects Deski and Webi

·         Strong SQL programming skills – TOAD as front end

·         Experienced in understanding of Exadata/Oracle/Netezza/SQL Server databases

 

Required Business Analyst Skills:

·         Work with business unit to understand reporting requirement

·         Compose both business and technical requirements into specification documents

·         Experienced as participant and facilitator of JAD sessions

 

Desired Technical Skills:

·         Experienced in AGILE methodology

·         WebFOCUS background a plus

 

Required General Skills:

·         Strong communication skills

·         Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

·         Exposure and understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
