We are seeking a Business Objects XCelcius Developer for a contract position. This will project will be approximately 1-2 months with the possibility of an extension.
Skills needed:
Business Objects XI 3.1 XCelcius Universe Designer Web Intelligence Oracle SQL Server Business Objects framework data models
Primary work will be in designing, implementing, and testing new enterprise wide executive scorecard and dashboards sourcing. Proficient with the Business Objects Universe, including the Web Intelligence and Xcelcius toolsets. Participate as a senior member of a team representing Information Technology Solutions. Work with and provide guidance on technical solutions. Coordinate unit and system level testing and documenting of results. Will work to design and develop comprehensive, scalable interfaces and assist in the specification of service orchestrations. Work with limited supervision, and take ownership of project to achieve schedule, financial and technical goals as assigned. Business Objects Visual Composer experience also desired.
Basic Qualifications:
* Candidate must be proficient in Business Objects XI 3.1 with the Universe Designer and Web Intelligence product against Oracle and SQL Server databases.
* Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing a production and scalable Business Objects framework
* Minimum of six (3) years of experience as a Business Objects developer.
* Demonstrated knowledge of web services and web technologies
* Demonstrated Advanced knowledge level of relational databases and data models
* Demonstrated problem solving skills
* Must be results oriented and possess excellent communication skills
Required Education:
Bachelor*s Degree from an accredited university or college with a major in Computer Science, related engineering or science field or Business with relevant professional experience, will consider equivalent professional related experience on the basis of two (2) additional years of experience for each one (1) year of higher education
