Data Architect

 

 

Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a consultant for a long term Data Architect contract. 

 

 

 Required Technical Skills:

·         Data Modeling / Architecture (Conceptual / Logical / Physical modeling)

·         Demonstrate strong SQL skills

·         Exhibit strong analysis skills

·         Identify, review, and evaluate existing data structures

·         Construct data decomposition diagrams, provide data flow diagrams and document the process

·         Identify and document data quality issues and data patterns

·         Write code for database access, modification and construction including stored procedures

·         Ensure that the data and process models accurately reflect business requirements

·         Work with the project team to ensure the business use and logical data models are synchronous

·         Effectively work on ORACLE, SQL Server and/or Teradata; exposure to multiple a plus

 

Desired Technical Skills:

·         Data Warehousing

·         ERwin / PowerDesigner or other data modeling tool

·         Working knowledge of clustered and distributed environments

·         Ability to perform moderate (architecture improvements) database tuning activities
