Director IT Systems Engineering, Administration and Operations

Summary:

 This position directs the corporation’s IT systems engineering, implementation, 

administration and operations processes. This position requires a complete and 

comprehensive knowledge of modern Information Technologies and their application 

to meet the corporation specific business needs. This position builds and provides 

daily leadership to the managers of the Engineering, Operations, Systems Administration, and Network teams. A BS in Computer Science or related field, 10 years of IT experience, and at least 5 years of management/leadership experience in an IT technical group setting

is required.

Responsibilities:

•Directs the corporation’s IT systems engineering, implementation, administration and operations processes.

•Builds and provides daily leadership to the managers of the Engineering, Operations, 

Systems Administration, and Network teams.

•Research and recommend new IT related technologies to the company.

•Research, develop and maintain solid business relationships with related IT vendors.

•Initiate, define and accomplish Network and Server based performance reporting 

for review and tuning.

•Participate as a technical backup on different server platforms.

•Participate as a project manager on projects as needed.

Skills Required:
 
 •Requires a complete and comprehensive knowledge of modern Information Technologies and their application to meet the corporation specific business needs. 
 
•Ability to problem solve using deductive reasoning in a timely manner.
 
•Should have good working knowledge and understanding of Networking systems and infrastructure.
 
Education Requirement:
 
 •BS in Computer Science or related field
 
•At least 10 years of IT experience
 
•At least 5 years of management / leadership experience in an IT technical group setting
 
•Should have in depth technical skills on multiple server platforms
