Director of e-Commerce (MUST HAVE BANKING/FINANCE BACKGROUND, MUST HAVE FORTUNE 500 EXPERIENCE )

Supports Vice President of Information Technology in research, planning, budgeting and implementation of multi-channel member acquisition, retention, servicing and relationship development strategies. Develop eCommerce sales and marketing strategies.
Directs resources and budget to meet membership product and service adoption goals.
Primary Responsibilities
1.Work closely with Vice President of Information Technology, Retail Operations and Marketing to support membership, product and service goals.
2.Partners with the Vice President of Information Technology plan, forecast, develop and manage the department’s capital and expense budgets with minimal variance.
3.Formulate e-Commerce operational plans to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing work, aligning resources and leading for results on time and within budget.
4.Formulates policies, procedures and internal controls to optimize the use and effectiveness of eCommerce sites.
5.Identify, research and propose strategic opportunities, functionality, applications, services and vendors to facilitate increased adoption of credit union products and services.
6.Promotes and oversees strategic relationships with vendor and partner organizations.
7.Leverage marketing techniques such as multivariate testing, search engine optimization and dynamic imaging to ensure product adoption and overall site visitor satisfaction.
8.Supervises the recruitment, development and retention of human assets.
9.Oversees and manages the publication of member acquisition, product and service adoption reports.
10.Establish and document best practices, standards, key performance indicators, internal controls and processes for e-Commerce initiatives.]
11.Monitor competitors to achieve and maintain a competitive lead.

1.Human Resource Responsibilities
Recruit, train, supervise, develop and evaluate department staff. Formalize resource planning and development including succession planning. Maintain an employee friendly work environment. Insure compliance with state, federal and corporate requirements and guidelines.
2.Financial Responsibilities
Meeting assigned budget targets and guidelines. Support company and partner financial goals. Meet regulatory and audit requirements, standards and guidelines
Knowledge and Experience ·
Experience in e-Commerce, sales and marketing for a large-scale organization is required.
Prior line of business and P&L responsibility is a must.
Strong understanding of member acquisition, retention and servicing is required.
Demonstrated ability to transform an online presence into market leading member driven virtual branch.
Technical skills include, search engines, shopping comparison tools, social media, payment mythologies, coding standards, code promotion and testing.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Bachelor of Science Degree and ten years of experience in e-Commerce and Marketing in a senior-level related position is required.
Masters Degree in Business or Computer Information Systems preferred.
