Java development on insurance system applications

There are different tasks that need to be accomplished and based on your experience you will work on one or both of these projects.
One could be working on a completely new Java front-end that will use webservices to communicate with the back-end or you could be assisting with wrapping up implementation of the insurance line of business into a J2EE-based policy processing system. Additionally there will be a migration of the umbrella line of business in this system as well.

Membership and Financial areas. Development and maintenance-Tomcat/Websphere servers. Working on entire life cycle from designing, to coding, to testing – cradle to grave basically. Need someone to take ownership of the project, have great analytical skills. Skill level: Mid Level to lower in Java skills. Can groom someone and eventually the person has the ability/opportunity to become a team lead. This is not a micromanaged environment. Need someone who can work independently if possible.
