Consultant will provide technical direction, guidance and support to development management, clients and other development staff regarding applications, programming, systems analysis, systems development, product evaluation, client requirements, systems standards and quality control applications and systems. Conceives and implements complex technical system configurations and specifications. May function as a Project Leader.
Specifically, this position will be focused on very large/complex development projects, involving both integration of vendor based systems as well as ground-up development, manage release content and deployments to multiple environments, ensure the On-Call person resolves production incidents appropriately and timely, and provide technical direction to Junior developers. All development efforts will stay within the Microsoft development platform. Projects have high corporate visibility so qualified applicants will have significant opportunities in a career.
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor's degree in quantitative area (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other related field)
– 10 or more years of experience in area of specialization with strong project/team leadership skills

– Demonstrated ability to analyze technical information, evaluate products, services and vendors, and make recommendations
– Comprehensive understanding of the data processing environment, its impact on business functions and the client’s business
– Must be a strong critical thinker with abilities to quickly propose multiple solutions with technical issues.
