Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a Project Manager with experience in a financial environment.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

The Finance Project Manager has overall responsibility for the execution of the business’ projects.  This includes:

·         Provide specific project management support activities to complement the team

o   Typical project management support activities include:

§  Work with company business process owners to review work-plans, discuss potential gaps in those plans, and gather additional activities for inclusion in the work plans

·         Provide project guidance and recommendations to Team Owners/Leads

§  Maintain and update work-stream work plan(s)

§  Document and maintain work-stream’s client upgrade work plan(s)

§  Document risks / issues and help define mitigation strategies

·         SOX and process controls to be addressed and modified as necessary

§  Day-to-Day management of work plan

·         Manage day-to-day business resource availability and interactions

·         Manage business resource needs and communicate conflicts

§  Document interdependencies and coordinate with other work-streams and IT projects

·         Identify and address system impacts through IT

·         Coordinate the delivery of project artifacts to the IT Project Manager

§  Provide work-stream updates to work-stream owner

§  Coordinate training and change management

·         Identify, execute upon and monitor organizational and business process changes needed

§  Communicate and report work-stream status to Program Management

·         Maintain, monitor and report on project metrics

§  Document current and future state process (as requested)

o   Typical project management work products include:

§  Work-stream project plan (weekly)

§  Client upgrade plan (weekly)

§  Work-stream status report (weekly)

§  Risk/Issues/Decision logs (weekly)

§  Interdependency tracker (weekly)

§  Current and future state process documentation (as requested)

·         Provide general management support to FSI such as

§  On-boarding of support resources

§  Oversight of support resources

§  Draft presentations communicating results to Leadership (such as Accomplishments, Milestones, Risk, Issues and Decisions)
