Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a Prototype Designer Engineer.


The Prototype Designer Engineer will build effective prototypes for the company.


1.     Work with clients and various business groups to understand objectives and define product work flows

2.     Develop use cases and personas

3.     Design user interface of Electronic Healthcare Applications, incorporating software usability and user experience best practices with user-centered design methodology.

4.      Create wireframes, flow diagrams, and other artifacts to communicate design ideas.

5.     Perform UX evaluation, usability tests and recommendations on all projects that involve User Interface

A.     Develop a usability test plan which addresses the product usability objectives

B.     Facilitate projects such as one-on-one usability sessions and focus groups to obtain user preferences and feedback

C.    Scribe user feedback

D.    Analyze and document the results discovered from the usability sessions

E.     Facilitate group, individual interviews and contextual inquiries

6.     Prototype Software Products with Expression Studio (Blend and Sketchflow), Photoshop, Snagit, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and ASP.NET

7.     Set up user interface best practice standard, user Interface library


·         A portfolio demonstrating good design skills and deliverables from a user-centered design process

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in visual design and interaction design for Web user interfaces, throughout the complete project cycle from the creation of initial site specifications to design, production, testing and launch, playing a proactive role in the process. Knowing how to design within the possibilities and constraints of current and emerging Web technologies. Knowing how to explain good and bad design solutions to project team members.

·         Experience in and knowledge of User Centered Design practices (such as setting up and carrying out user tests) is a strong plus.
