SAP Business Analyst (BI/BW)

We are seeking a SAP Business Analyst (BI/BW) on a contract basis.

The candidate should posses the following skills:

• The position requires knowledge of all aspects of SAP BI. (SAP BW). 
• Implementation and support experience of SAP Business Warehouse applications using SAP ECC, BI and the Business Objects Suite

• Responsibilities include:

   

   • Analysis, design, and architectural review for critical SAP BI/BW solutions for complex cross-functional, global initiatives to achieve both short and long-term business results

   • Develop, implement and document processes and standards for SAP BI/BW, including BEx and support for SAP Business Objects data requirements

  • Conduct BI/BW technical design and quality reviews with developers with a focus on optimal data organization

  • Provide knowledge transfer to global SAP BI/BW Team of best practices and guiding development

•  • Leverage best practices in SAP BI/BW solution and service delivery

   • Work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams

   

  Qualifications/Competencies:

   

  Required Skills:

   

  • BA/BS Degree in computer science, information

  technology or related

  • 5+ years experience in SAP BI/BW Architecture, Data Warehouse design and development, Data Warehousing technical components, data modeling, and formal development methodology

  • 2+ years as a technical leader in an SAP BW 7.0 environment

  • 5 years of SAP BI/BW hands-on implementation and configuration experience

   • Ability to deliver short term commitments without sacrificing long-term viability

  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions

  •Ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple priorities and stretch goals to deliver on the business objectives of the company  

  • Strong organizational skills

  •Excellent written and verbal communication skills

   Desired skills/education/experience/attributes (ideal

  candidate):

  • Experience in the Business Objects product suite

  • Experience designing Business Objects Universes using the Universe Designer

   •Experience with a global deployment of SAP BI/BW in a single global instance
