Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a SAP HR Configuration Business Analyst. This position requires someone with hands on technical configuration experience.
Role Purpose Statement:
The job incumbent will provide expert guidance, in the process of defining, implementing and sustaining optimal solutions for ERP functional development and support, with respect to the Human Resources, Payroll, Time Management and eRecruiting business discipline and processes. Key outcomes and responsibilities include functional design, configuration, documentation, testing, training and support of company-wide ERP capability to ensure consistent fit, functionality, utilization and control.
Main Accountabilities
Ø Analyzes and evaluates existing business functions and processes related to Payroll, Benefits, Organizational Management, Time Management
Ø Interfaces with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access
Ø Performs functional configuration tasks for the SAP Payroll/HCM modules to satisfy requests from end users for fixes, changes, and enhancements
Ø Performs unit and integration testing and troubleshoots problems with the SAP Payroll /HCM modules after release strategy changes and/or upgrades and other functional configuration changes have been created and makes changes in configurations to resolve errors
Ø Interfaces with users to interpret and clarify functional configuration details and process change requirements involving SAP Payroll /HCM modules
Ø Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users and technical personnel in the analysis, design, functional configuration, testing and maintenance of SAP Payroll /HCM modules to ensure optimal system performance
Ø Tracks and documents changes in functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users
Ø Identifies opportunities for improving business processes in partnership with process owners and management through SAP Payroll /HCM and associated information systems
Ø Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff on matters related to assigned area
Ø Complies with Corporate IT processes for ITIL management (Incident and Change Management), General Controls and Information Security

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
Ø 6+ years’ experience configuration and/or supporting SAP’s Payroll and Time Management product suite (ECC 6.0) is mandatory
Ø Deep subject matter expertise in the respective business discipline (Human Capital Management) and related business processes supported, as well as expertise in the use and support of the related ERP modules, methods and procedures
Ø 6+ years’ experience in HCM modules including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM) and Payroll
Ø 6+ years’ end-user support and documentation
Ø Demonstrated understanding and experience with BSI (Payroll Tax) and integration with SAP ECC 6.0 is required
Ø Experience with functional/business integration between SAP FICO and HCM modules
Ø Understanding of functional/technical architecture, databases, infrastructure as required for effective use of global ERP utilities and reporting tools
Ø Strong inter-personal relationship skills and problem solving skills are required
Ø Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Ø Demonstrated experience in Oilfield Services & Equipment or Oil & Gas industries preferred
Ø Experience with ITIL Incident and Change Management processes required
Ø Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
Ø Knowledge of system development methodologies with experience throughout the full project lifecycle
Ø Ability to identify/define technology solutions delivering required business capabilities
Ø Knowledge/skill to objectively assess benefits, costs, and viability of proposed solution options- Knowledge of business process design and ability to drive process improvement initiatives
Ø Ability to develop clear, thorough functional design specifications that drive effective solution development
Ø Knowledge of effective testing practices and methodologies
Ø Ability to define and execute appropriate test scenarios to validate system solutions
Ø Ability to effectively utilize available tools and resources (internal and external) to resolve issues
Ø Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Project
