Senior Programmer Analyst

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

 

 ·         Five to seven years of cumulative professional experience using the required technical skills 

·          B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent formal and practical training  

·          Ability to manage multiple tasks and implement solutions with minimal supervision 

·          Must have strong analytical and excellent communication skills. 

·          HTML/JavaScript; MS-SQL/Relational Database 

 

Extensive technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

 

Mainframe 

·          IBM Cobol II 

·          IBM CICS (VSE 2.3) and CICS Transaction Server (1.1) 

·          DYL 280 

·          VSAM, CA-Datacom (v. 10) 

·          VSE/ESA (v.2.7) JCL 

 

Microsoft VB/ASP/VB.net 

·          VB 6.0 

·          ASP 3.0 (VBScript) 

·          JavaScript 

·          HTML 

·          Web services/SOAP/XML 

·          Eclipse and Subversion

The Senior Programmer Analyst implements program changes under the direction of the Team Lead with minimal supervision and must have strong analytical and excellent communication skills. This position will be accountable for developing new solutions and maintaining, enhancing, and acquiring computer applications to support MFA*s business units.

Experience with Lombardi Teamworks or Business Process Modeling is considered a significant plus.
