SQL Server DBA Contractor needed for 8-10 weeks to start immediately. The consultant would have some limited time at the client but a majority of the work will be done remotely.
The consultant will have the following skill set.
- We are seeking a SQL Server DBA with strong skills in database administration and design.
- Candidate must have 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2005 and above.
- Complete analysis of our current database and data management environment as presently configured (we host our clients websites)
- Logical and physical design and/or re-design of current database schemas
- Work with Server Admin to optimize Database Server Configuration
- Develop Performance Monitoring strategies
- Track down and resolve ongoing issues.
- Develop TQL Coding Standards to develop high performance
- Develop capacity and performance requirements
- Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency
